ASTM A252 Grade 3 Steel Pipe is extensively used as steel stacking pipes, structure pipe stacks. A252 Grade 3 pipeline stack is produced under ASTM A252 Specification, which covers nominal (average) wall steel pipeline stacks of round shape and applies to a252 grade 3 pipeline piles in which the steel cylinder functions as a permanent load-carrying member, or as a shell to form cast-in-place concrete piles.

Process–The A252 grade 3 steel pipe piles are electric resistance welding process orseamless steel pipeprocess. The seams of grade 3 welded pipe piles is longitudinal.
Material–The A252 Gr 3 steel is made by one or more of the following processes: open-hearth, basic-oxygen, or electric-furnace.
